Capabilities & Equipment
What types of fabrication services do you offer?
Accurate Metal Fabricating provides a complete range of fabrication services, including laser cutting, turret punching, forming, welding (MIG, TIG, spot, and robotic), PEM insertion, riveting, grinding, and complete assembly. Our capabilities support both simple components and highly engineered assemblies.
What materials can you fabricate?
We work with carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, lithographed metals, precoated materials, and select perforated plastics. Our team fabricates everything from thin-gauge sheet metal to heavy plate.
What is your maximum material thickness?
Our Bystronic 3015 fiber laser cuts up to:
-
Steel: 1.000"
-
Stainless & Aluminum: 1.125"
-
Brass: 0.625"
-
Copper: 0.500"
Do you handle high-volume production?
Yes. With multiple lasers, seven turret presses, 16 press brakes, robotic welding cells, and extensive finishing/assembly capabilities, we specialize in medium- to high-volume runs with consistent repeatability.
Can you fabricate precoated or printed materials?
Yes. We are one of the few fabricators that can efficiently cut, form, and assemble precoated, printed, or lithographed materials without damaging the finish.
Engineering & Design Support
Can you assist with design or value engineering?
Absolutely. Our engineering team reviews every project to identify ways to reduce cost, streamline fabrication, and maintain structural or functional performance. We frequently recommend design improvements that simplify production while meeting your requirements.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept most industry-standard file types, including DXF, DWG, STEP, SolidWorks files, and PDF drawings. If you're unsure, our engineering team can guide you.
Do you offer prototyping?
Yes. We support prototype runs for new products, design validation, and production readiness before moving into full-scale manufacturing.

Materials & Processes
What metal finishes do you offer?
We offer powder coating, liquid paint, anodizing, plating, polishing, deburring, silk screening, and specialty finishes such as Kynar®/PVDF. Most finishing is completed in-house for better control and turnaround.
Do you work with stainless steel and aluminum?
Yes. We routinely fabricate stainless steel (various grades) and aluminum, especially for industries like power generation, technology, retail fixtures, architectural components, and outdoor applications.
How do you handle tight tolerances?
Our laser cutting, CNC press brakes, and skilled welders allow us to hold precise tolerances. For complex assemblies, our engineering and QC teams verify fit and function at each step.
Powder Coating & Finishing
What are the maximum part sizes your powder coat line can handle?
Our automated line supports parts up to 4' wide x 6' tall x 10' long, with a 400 lb capacity.
Can you color match?
Yes. We can match RAL or Pantone colors for branding-critical applications.
Do you meet AAMA coating standards?
Yes. We offer finishes compliant with AAMA 2604 and AAMA 2605 for durability, color retention, and long-term outdoor performance.
How fast can you change colors?
Our quick-change powder booth allows for rapid color transitions, ideal for projects with multiple SKUs or product lines.
