When you’re designing a new product, the last thing you need is a fabricator that creates more problems than it solves.
We’ve worked with hundreds of engineers over the years, and we’ve heard the same frustrations time and again—missed specs, vague communication, and little to no support during prototyping. It’s why so many project managers feel like they’re flying solo when they should be working with a partner.
At Accurate Metal Fabricating, we’ve built our processes with engineers in mind. Here's what you should expect from your metal fabricator—and how we deliver it every day.
1. Precision You Can Count On
You spec it, we hit it. It sounds simple, but too many shops cut corners or miss critical tolerances, forcing you to go back and adjust your designs to make up for it.
We fabricate everything from EV charger housings to server racks to sanitary enclosures—where tight tolerances aren’t optional. And we’re ISO 9001:2015 certified, so our entire process is built around repeatable precision.
Real example: One of our recent projects involved a multi-part aluminum housing for the POP industry. This part had multiple bends, laser cutting, custom powder coating, and intricate assembly. Our press brake team hit every shipping milestone thrown at us with no post-processing required.
2. Clear, Engineer-to-Engineer Communication
You shouldn’t have to explain a CAD file twice. Or chase down a quote for days. We know that when you're working under tight deadlines, silence from your vendor is the worst kind of noise.
At Accurate, we assign dedicated project managers and technical leads to every job. That means if there’s a question, change, or potential improvement—we bring it to you fast, with technical clarity.
We’re not afraid to suggest a better approach, either. Many of our customers say they learn more from our suggestions than from their previous vendors.
3. Design Support That Starts Early
If you're still working out the design details, you shouldn't have to wait until the drawings are perfect to get feedback. We offer engineering input as early as you're ready—whether it’s a napkin sketch or a half-built model.
Our design-for-manufacturability (DFM) support helps you avoid cost drivers like excessive welding, unnecessarily tight tolerances, or features that require custom tooling. And because we offer laser cutting, turret punching, forming, welding, powder coating, and assembly all under one roof, we know exactly how your part will move through production.
Bonus: If your design requires perforated metal, we work directly with our sister company, Accurate Perforating, to streamline material supply and alignment.
4. Prototype to Production Without the Pain
A good prototype can make or break your timeline. We offer prototyping services that flow right into production—so you’re not starting over with a different vendor after your proof-of-concept.
Whether you need five pieces or five hundred, we’ll build to the same spec, using the same tools and machines. That way, there are no surprises when you ramp up.
5. Respect for Your Expertise
You’re the expert on your product. We’re the experts in fabricating it. The best results happen when both sides are heard—and that’s how we approach every relationship.
No ego. No lectures. Just a collaborative process where we take your goals seriously, offer solutions when they’re helpful, and stay out of the way when you’ve already got it dialed in.
Let’s Fabricate Something Together
If you’ve ever felt like your fabricator doesn’t “get it,” we’re here to change that. Our team loves solving problems, refining designs, and working side-by-side with engineers who care about quality just as much as we do.
Whether complex, unfinished, or somewhere in between. We’re ready to dive in.
